Attaching and Covering Book Boards from HMS Victory
3

This process video is, in many ways, an addendum to my last post on the history of wooden book covers. Here is a glimpse into the process of attaching the covers – made from teak salvaged from HMS Victory – and covering them with vegetable-tanned goatskin leather.

I anticipate finishing production of the Victory Edition within the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for photos of the finished books!
